Dr. Murli Manohar is working as a Post-Doctoral Fellow on acute pancreatitis, chronic pancreatitis and pancreatic cancer at Stanford University, California. Acute or chronic inflammatory disease of the pancreas and characterized by destruction of acinar cells, which lead activation of several inflammatory cells which secrete number of pro-inflammatory cytokines. Chronic pancreatitis leads pancreatic tissue fibrosis that is one of the major causes of pancreatic cancer development. Dr. Benjamin John Colleypriest is working as a Consultant Gastroenterologist and Clinical Lead for Gastroenterology at Royal united Hospital, Bath, UK since May, 2012. Previously he worked at Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust Hospital from May, 2010 – April, 2012. Dr. Colleypriest trained at Southampton University Medical School between 1993 and 1998. Following house jobs, he worked at a number of hospitals within Wessex before specializing in Gastroenterology. He then spent 3 years as a research fellow at the University of Bath understanding the molecular mechanisms of Barrett’s oesophagus, oesophageal cancer and other gastrointestinal cancers and was awarded a Ph.D. in 2009 for this work.

Dr. Toshimi Chiba belonged to the First Department of Internal Medicine, Iwate Medical University, Japan with a medical degree in Japan, upon his PhD in 1992 at Iwate Medical University, Japan. Over the last 20 years, he has focused his scientific interests on the topics related to gastrointestinal (GI) disorders including functional GI disorders, peptic ulcer disease, inflammatory bowel disease and GI endoscopy. Especially, he also belonged to the GI Research Unit, Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota, USA. He studied GI motility such as gastric emptying, GI transit and functions of peptides in the GI tract. He is a member of evidence-based clinical practice guidelines for irritable bowel syndrome, peptic ulcer disease and chronic constipation in the Japanese Society of Gastroenterology (JSGE), and guidelines for endoscope disinfection in the Japan Gastroenterological Endoscopy Society (JGES). He has published numerous SCI journal papers, edited/reviewed for many academic journals, and received awards from JSGE (1992) and AGA (1999).
Dr. Aziz Koleilat is working as Chairman and Director of Pediatric Residency Program at The Makassed University Hospital, Lebanon and Department of Pediatrics of Berbir Hospital in Beirut, Lebanon. He was born in Beirut, accomplished his premedical studies at the American University of Beirut, Lebanon, and graduated from Charles University Prague, Czech Republic – Pediatric Faculty. He pursued his postgraduate studies and training at the Teaching Hospital of Charles University, Prague. He acquired his first and second attestation (board degrees) at the Institute for Postgraduate Medical Studies Prague, Czech Republic.

Dr. Peysh A. Patel is a Cardiology Registrar & Clinical Research Fellow based in Leeds, UK. His undergraduate training was at University of Cambridge, where he acquired a Masters in Pathology and obtained multiple college prizes. During this period, he also completed a subinternship in paediatric cardiology at Harvard Medical School. He received the prestigious appointment of Cardiology Academic Clinical Fellow in 2013, which enabled him to conduct a Postgraduate Diploma in Health Research (with Merit). He has represented on multiple committees at deanery level, including Associate College Tutor for the Royal College of Physicians for two successive years. Dr George K. Paraskevas works as Associate Professor of Anatomy at Department of Anatomy, Faculty of Medicine, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh), Greece. He gained full qualification as specialist in orthopaedic surgery. His research and scientific fields of interest include congenital anomalies of bones and muscles, trauma and surgery, entrapment syndromes of nerves and neuropathies, variational anatomy of vascular system, history of Anatomy, anatomical nomenclature, anthropometric studies and surgical anatomy and embryology of gastrointestinal tract. Dr Paraskevas is a member of the Editorial Board of 141 international medical journals and supervisor and member of the advisory board of 15 dissertations. He published over 160 papers in international medical journals indexed in PubMed and is author of several textbooks of anatomy.
Dr. Mosab Arafat from New Zealand is a licensed pharmacist who obtained his Doctoral Degree (PhD) in nanomedicines from School of Pharmacy, University of Otago, New Zealand. He is Author of over 34 research papers and presentations on nano-drug delivery systems and colloidal dosage forms. His research work interests involved the application of nanotechnology on oral drug delivery system (liposomes, niosomes, transfersomes and bilosomes) to enhance intestinal permeability, oral bioavailability and pharmacokinesics parameters of BCS Class II and III drugs and to develop and characterize a nano-formulation of a protein like drug molecules such as insulin for oral administration. He has developed, improved and formulated a novel oral nano-formulation for BCS Class III drug using 200 nm liposomes like particles. He succeeded to increase the intestinal absorption of cefotaxime (BCS Class III drug) from 1 to 20 times after been given to rats by mouth instead of injection. He has moved to UAE and currently he is working as a Faculty Member at the College of Pharmacy. He was invited as a research visitor for a number of Universities including: The University of Tokyo, The University of Warwick and University of Strathclyde. He is also working very closely with many pharmaceutical industries and provided consultancy services to them.

Dr. Hsu Shan Huang obtained a doctorate (Dr. rer. nat.) in pharmaceutical chemistry from the University of Regensburg, Germany. Currently, he is a pioneering medicinal chemist in Taiwan and works as a Professor in medicinal chemistry and drug discovery program at Taipei Medical University. He has also served as dean of School of Pharmacy, head of the Department of Research and Development in NDMC and director of Department of Pharmacy Practice, Tri-Service General Hospital/NDMC. Of note, Prof Huang’s lab is one of the forerunners in Taiwan in the field of medicinal chemistry which primarily focuses on drug discovery and synthesizing small molecules. He has published more than 90 scientific publications and is a named inventor of 30 issued U.S., Taiwan or other countries patents.
Professor Rafik Karaman is currently a distinguished professor of pharmaceutical sciences, College of Pharmacy, Al-Quds University, Jerusalem, Palestine and adjunct professor at Basilicata University, Italy. He received his Ph.D. degree in pharmaceutical/bioorganic chemistry from the Hebrew University in 1987, his MS degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Hebrew University in 1983, and his bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from the Hebrew University in 1981. He was an Assistant Professor at the University of Toledo and University of California at Santa Barbara for 5 years where he worked with Professor T.C. Bruice in the bioorganic chemistry field. Professor Karaman is broadly interested in the design and synthesis of prodrug systems to be used for the delivery of certain drugs that have poor water solubility or/and have low bioavailability as well as synthesis of prodrugs for masking the bitter sensation of commonly used drugs. The prodrug design is executed using ab initio, DFT, semiempirical, molecular mechanics as well as molecular dynamics and conformational dynamics methods. The overarching goal of Karaman’s research activities is to establish a method for obtaining prodrugs that their interconversion rates will be controlled or programmed by the chemical features of the linker (promoiety) attached to their active parent drugs. Professor Karaman has more than 160 peer-reviewed manuscripts and book chapters; 120 of them were published in the recent 8 years. He is currently an editor and an editorial board member of 50 international journals in the areas of pharmaceutical sciences.
Research Interests:
1. Design, synthesis, characterization and in vitro and in vivo kinetics of pro-prodrug systems to be used for the delivery for certain drugs that have poor water solubility or/and have low bioavailability using ab initio, DFT, semiempirical, molecular mechanics as well as molecular dynamics and conformational dynamics methods. The in-vitro studies will be conducted in media mimics that of stomach (pH 1.2), intestine (pH 6.8) and blood circulation (pH 7.4). The in-vivo studies will be conducted in certain animals and the pharmacokinetic parameters will be determined using advanced technology such as, HPLC and LC-MS.
2. Design and synthesis of linkers to be used for masking bitter taste of drugs that contain a hydroxyl or amine groups (antimalarial, anti-hypertension, anti-bleeding, antibacterial and anticancer drugs) using DFT calculation methods. The synthesis will be carried out using standard organic methods and the kinetic rates of the intramolecular processes will be determined by HPLC monitoring.
3. Design and synthesis of bitter taste antagonists for inactivation of the bitter taste receptor 14.The design will be accomplished using molecular orbital and molecular mechanics methods.
4. Pharmaceuticals removal from wastewater using clay micelle complex, hollow fiber, spiral wounds, charcoal and other adsorbents.
5. Pharmaceuticals removal from wastewater using photodegradation methods such as light/TiO2.
6. Stability of Pharmaceuticals in wastewater and isolation and characterization of degradation products (metabolites).
Professor LEUNG Ping Chung, OBE, JP, Hon DSSc, DSC, MBBS, MS, FRACS, FRCS(Edin), FHKCOS, FHKAM(Orth); is Emeritus Professor of Orthopaedics & Traumatology, Faculty of Medicine; Director of Centre for Clinical Trials on Chinese Medicine, Institute of Chinese Medicine, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). Director, State Key Laboratory of Phyto chemistry and Plant Resources in West China (Partner Laboratory in the Chinese University of Hong Kong). Professor Leung’s research areas including Orthopedics, Osteoporosis, Microsurgery Health, Traditional Chinese Medicine and General Education. He is also the author of over 800 scientific manuscripts in journals and 27 books.
Dr. Antonio Gloria received a Ph.D. degree in “Chemical, Materials and Production Engineering” from the University of Naples “Federico II”, Naples, Italy. He is a Researcher at the National Research Council of Italy – Institute of Polymers, Composites and Biomaterials, Naples, Italy. He is also a Professor at different universities (in Italy and Portugal). He is a Scientific Advisory Board Member of the Fraunhofer International Joint Laboratory Ideas – Department of Industrial Engineering, University of Naples “Federico II”. He is a Member of the European Society for Biomaterials (ESB), the Italian Society of Biomaterials (SIB), and the American Chemical Society (ACS) and a Full Member of the American Nano Society. As a Member of the “Italian Society of Biomechanics in Orthopedics and Traumatology” (SIBOT), in October 2013 he was appointed as Scientific Advisor/Counselor and he is Treasurer since January 2016. He received many national and international awards. He was awarded and appointed as “Future Leader” in Science and Technology (“Dialogue between Nobel Laureates and Future Leaders,” STS Forum, October 2015, Kyoto, Japan). Dr Hui-Fen Wu is a distinguished professor at National Sun Yat-Sen University (Kaohsiung, Taiwan). She obtained PhD degree from University of Texas at Austin, USA in1994; followed by postdoctoral work at University of California at Berkeley (1994-1996), she joined Tamkang University (Tamsui, Taiwan) as an Associate Professor (1996-2001) and professor (2001 – 2006). In 2006, she joined Chemistry Department of National Sun Yat-Sen University as a senior Professor. Her research work has been focused on applications of nanomaterials for biomedicine including drug delivery and photo-thermal treatment of cancer and neuro diseases. She also has interests on the development of biosensors. She has been served as editorial board members for many international journals and also served as the review committee for the expensive instrument center, ministry of science and technology. She obtained academic outstanding award (2016) and outstanding paper award (2014) from Taiwan chemical sensor society & the pride of the Nation Inventor & Academic Award (2012). To date, she has published 213 scientific journals, 16 book chapters, 7 patents and 253 conference presentation & speeches.
Professor Huan-Tsung Chang is currently a professor of National Taiwan University. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry. He obtained his Ph. D from the Department of Chemistry, Iowa State University in 1994. He has been published more than 270 papers. His research interests include (1) Green synthesis of nanomaterials (NMs); (2) NMs based mass spectrometry; (3) Functional NMs for sensing and cell imaging; (4) Functional NMs as potential drugs and antibacterial agents; (5) NMs based fuel cells; (6) Quantum dots solar cells; and (7) Separation.
Dr. Vincenzo Guarino is research scientist at National Research Council of Italy (IPCB-CNR) since 2006. He received his PhD in Biomaterials from the University of Naples Federico II (2005) from the University of Naples Federico II. He is expert of process technologies for scaffold design and electro hydrodynamic technologies (i.e, electro spinning, electro spraying, Electro Dynamic Atomization) to produce micro/nanofibres, particles and capsules for tissue engineering and drug delivery. He is scientific partner of International Islamic University of Malaysia for RAGS and of Universidad National Autonoma de Mexico for PAPIIT. He is scientific responsible of several post doc and ESR fellows and supervisor of PhD fellows and BSc/MSc students. He is author of over 70 international publications (H-Index 16 – ISI source), 9 chapters in International books, 1 patent and over 150 communications in international/national conferences. He is also Member of the European Society of Biomaterials (ESB), the American Nano Society and the Italian Society on Biomaterials (SIB) and reviewer of several international journals. He has been awarded as author/co-author in several international congresses on biomaterials and his publication has been cited and abstracted in the Highlights CNR 2008-09 – collection of best CNR works 2008-2009.
Dr. Showkat Ahmad Bhawani is presently working as a senior Lecturer at Department of chemistry, Faculty of Resource Science and Technology, UNIMAS Malaysia. In addition to this, he has teaching experience of two years from King Abdul Aziz University- North Jeddah and a post doctoral experience of Three years from the Universiti Sains Malaysia, Malaysia. He received his M Sc. in Analytical Chemistry and Ph D. in Applied Analytical Chemistry from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India.
His research interests are the development of new test methods and determining standard conditions for analysis (Separation, Isolation and Determination) of various analytes from environmental and biological samples. He is involved in the analysis of samples like: Surfactants, Amino acids, Drugs, Vitamins, Sugars and Metal ions. In addition to this I am also working on the synthesis of molecular Imprinting polymers for the removal/extraction of dyes, fungicides and various natural products from environmental and biological samples.
Dr. Shoichiro Ozaki is a Professor Emeritus at Ehime University, Japan. HIs primary contribution is to achieve the first total synthesis of optically active myo-inositol trisphosphate, which has proved invaluable in providing a ready supply of this messenger and a wide range of other inositol phosphates and lipids for subsequent physiological studies. Ozaki discovered DAB: regulator of Ca2+ release, anti-aging reagents which co-working with anti-aging gene: method to protect global warming and many new synthetic methods and reagents. He is now proposing best way to protect from global warming. His method is promotion of CO2 assimilation by effective use of NOx and Drainage nitrogen, phosphorous.
He is now working on signal transduction. He discovered DAB: the regulators of Ca2+ release and consequent cellular processes. His typical paper is Ozaki Shoichiro Chemical approach to signal transduction by inositol trisphoaphate. He succeeded in the first total synthesis of optically active myo-inositol tri(1,4,5) phosphate.

Dr. Morse Faria obtained his bachelor degree in Pharmaceutical sciences from Goa University, India in and Master of Pharmacy degree from University of Mumbai, India. He completed his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), USA. He is currently working as a Research Scientist at Pharmaceutical Product Development, USA. Prior to obtaining his Ph.D., Dr. Faria worked as Research Associate in the Clinical Pharmacokinetics and Biopharmaceutics division at Wockhardt Ltd., Mumbai, India and as a Lecturer in Pharmacy, University of Mumbai, India. He is a reviewer for various bioanalytical journals including Bioanalysis, Journal of Chromatography B and Journal of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Analysis. He also serves on the Graduate Advisory Board, VCU School of Pharmacy and the Steering Committee of American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientist (AAPS) Contract Research Focus Group (CROFG). Dr. Faria’s main area of research focus is quantitative bioanalysis using liquid chromatography and tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS). He specializes in bioanalysis of protein molecules (biomarkers and biotherapeutics) from biological specimens to support drug discovery and drug development. In particular, his research expertise focuses on method development and validation of immunoaffinity coupled LC-MS/MS methods for antibody based biotherapeutics for pharmacokinetic applications in a regulated environment.
Dr. Mihail-Lucian Pascu, PhD., is born in 1946 in Bucharest and is physicist, Senior Scientist at National Institute for Laser, Plasma and Radiation Physics, Bucharest, Romania where he heads Laser Spectroscopy Group, he founded in 1975. He is Professor at Physics Faculty, University of Bucharest where he heads PhD. His interests are laser physics, tunable lasers, spectroscopy, optofluidics, biophotonics and biomedicine. He published over 200 papers, several book/or book chapters on lasers, lasers in biophotonics and biomedicine and presented over 300 communications at international conferences. He is editor of one book. He worked as Science Officer at European Commission-DG-RTD and European Science Foundation serving COST Office between September 2001 and December 2006.
Professor Michael U. Adikwu is currently the Vice Chancellor of the University of Abuja, Nigeria. He graduated from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Nigeria in 1986. He worked as a hospital pharmacist upon graduation from 1986-1990. In 1990, he joined the services of the University of Nigeria and rose to the rank of Professor in 1998. He teaches and researches into various aspects of pharmaceutical education and particularly raw materials utilization and sustainability as well as health sector reforms and public health. Currently he has over 250 research articles in both national and international journals. 1n 2007 he was appointed the National Coordinator of a project aimed at improving post-basic and higher education system in Nigeria through the World Bank IDA system. The project called STEP-B was completed in 2013. He won several awards and honors such as Nigerian Prize for Science (2006) and the May and Baker Prize for Excellence in the Practice of Pharmacy (2009). He is serving as an editorial member of several reputed journals.
Dr. Mazen L. Hamad received his Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Washington in 2003. He spent 1 year as a joint postdoc working on analytical technology development with the Center for Process Analytical Chemistry (CPAC) and ICI. Mazen went on to work as a research chemist for four years at the US Food and Drug Administration where he focused on manufacturing science, process analytical technology, molecular spectroscopy, and pharmaceutical product quality. Dr. Hamad is currently an associate professor in chemistry at UH Hilo where his duties involve teaching the analytical chemistry and instrumental analysis courses. When not in the classroom, Mazen enjoys working with various university governance committees, supporting science education at local K-12 schools, mentoring students in undergraduate research, updating chemistry curricula, reviewing articles for scientific journals, and contributing to community science events.

Dr. Mayur Patel, Associate Professor in Department of Pharmaceutics, has 11 years of teaching experience. He has completed M.Pharm and Ph. D. from Institute of Pharmacy, Nirma University. He has twenty one International and National Publications to his credit with total impact factor of more than 60, total citations more than 700 and ‘h’ index of 12. He has also written a book chapter on “Drug Delivery: Oral Colon-Specific” in Encyclopedia of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology, 4th Edition, 2013, Published by Informa Healthcare Inc. UK. He is a recognized PG and Ph.D. guide at Nirma University. His area of interest is Novel Drug Delivery Systems.
Dr. Mihail Lucian Birsa is currently a Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi, Romania. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the same university in 1995. He joined the master program at Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi in 1995, and in 2000 was awarded a Ph. D. degree in Organic Chemistry. From 2000 to 2002, he was a postdoctoral fellow under the mentorship of Professor Samuel Braverman at Bar-Ilan University, Israel. In 2003 he was selected as a member of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, working with Professor Henning Hopf in TU Braunschweig – Germany. Since then numerous return fellowships were granted by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation.

Dr. Keith E. Jackson Sr is an Associate Professor of Pharmacology at the University of Louisiana at Monroe College of Pharmacy. Prior to joining the School of Pharmacy family he was an instructor at the Tulane University Health Sciences center and a postdoctoral fellow at the Tulane University HSC for two years and the University of North Texas HSC for one year. Dr. Jackson’s research aims at understanding the controlling mechanisms, which lead to the development and maintenance of an elevation in mean arterial pressure in hypertension. In this regard an emphasis has been placed on an integrative study of cardiovascular and renal functional changes that occur during an elevation in blood pressure.
Research Interests: His current research studies have the following aims:
1. Find the major hormonal and neuronal controllers for the development of hypertension.
2. Understand changes in cardiovascular function and renal hemodynamics that occur prior to the development of hypertension.
3. Develop an understanding of why an imbalance in electrolyte homeostasis exists in hypertension.
4. Develop new strategies for the treatment of hypertensive patients.
Dr. Prokai Tatrai is a Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences at UNT System College of Pharmacy at Fort Worth, TX where she is an award winning researcher and pharmacy educator. Her primary research interest has been on innovative and multidisciplinary projects focusing on medicinal chemistry-driven drug design and delivery into the central nervous system. Her projects integrates medicinal chemistry, biopharmaceutics, pharmacokinetics, metabolism and drug distribution studies in early-phase drug discovery and the development of neuroactive/neuroprotective agents. She has extensively published in a broad field of medicinal and pharmaceutical chemistry. A best testimony of a very recent success of her lab has been published in Science Translational Medicine describing the very first brain-selective delivery of estrogens based on a unique bioprecursor prodrug approach. She has six issued US patents and has been an editorial board member of numerous journals and an academic editor of a successful special issue on neuroprotection.
Research Interests: Medicinal chemistry-based drug design and delivery into the central nervous system using prodrug approaches; neuroprotection based on estrogens, GC/LC-MS-based bioanalytical assay development, mass spectrometry-based proteomics.
Dr. Kai Wang is Group Leader of Bioanalytical and Biologics Services at Frontage Laboratories, Inc, a leading global CRO, and has lead more than 100 bioanalytical projects related to the de-velopment of pharmaceutical products. Dr. Wang’s current research focus is in the area of bio-analytical method development and validation, including quantitation of small molecule drugs and metabolites, as well as big molecule drugs and biomarkers such as oligonucleotides, pro-teins, peptides, glycosaminoglycans and lipids. Dr. Wang’s research interest also involves de-veloping bioanalytical methods using novel techniques such as dry blood spot (DBS) sampling, microsampling and analyte derivatization. Dr. Wang earned a doctor of philosophy degree in chemistry from Rutgers University – New Brunswick. He received a bachelor of science degree in chemistry from Nanjing University.
Dr. José María Sánchez Montero is working as an Associate Professor at the Department of organic chemistry and Faculty of pharmacy of the Complutense University of Madrid, Spain. He received his degree and PhD in chemistry from the University of Córdoba. He has also received (2012) the positive accreditation to become Full Professor (date for habilitation: first semester 2018). He has participated in 28 research projects and published more than 90 papers in international journals and several chapters of books having registered at present four patents. He has also presented more than 70 papers in national and international congresses. He has lectured in several countries and has directed 9 proceedings of Bachelor’s degree and 8 doctoral theses. He is an Academic corresponding of the Royal National Academy of pharmacy. He is a founding member of the Spanish society of biotechnology which is coordinator of the section applied Biocatalysis and the European Federation of biotechnology as well as the Spanish technology platform for sustainable chemistry. He has received several awards for his research including the award of Real Academia Nacional de Farmacia.
Dr. Jiashu Xie is currently working as Research Assistant Professor in the Center for Drug Design at the University of Minnesota. He obtained a PhD degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from South Dakota State University in 2014. He then joined the Center for Drug Design at the University of Minnesota as a Research Associate, and was promoted to Research Assistant Professor in 2016. Dr. Xie leads and manages the Bioanalytical and Pharmacokinetics Laboratory in the Center for Drug Design. His research has focused on LC/MS/MS bioanalysis, preclinical pharmacokinetics and in vitro ADME in drug discovery and development.

Dr. Esam Z. Dajani, Ph.D., FACG is currently serving as Adjunct Professor of Medicine at Loyola University-Chicago. He is the founder and president of International Drug Development Consultants (IDDC) Corporation, a Contract Research Organization (CRO) which provides scientific consulting services to pharmaceutical companies, law firms and governmental agencies. The scope of the consulting service includes clinical pharmacology, toxicology, drug development and regulatory affairs. He has directed worldwide clinical research and development at major pharmaceutical companies. He led the research teams that discovered and developed misoprostol (Cytotec), an anti-ulcer drug. Since 1980, he held continuous academic appointments in pharmacology and in medicine. He taught pharmacology and toxicology to medical, dental and pharmacy students. He has research interests in clinical pharmacology, gastrointestinal pharmacology, central nervous system pharmacology, prostaglandins, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), growth hormones (e.g., epidermal growth factor), cannabinoids and narcotic analgesics.
Dr. Ahmed Refat is working as Associate Professor & toxicology consultant Higher Directorate of Poison Control Center- MoH- Saudi Arabia since 2015. He received his initial training in clinical toxicology eighteen years ago at the Toxicology Department (Emergency Hospital) in Mansoura, Egypt. Between 2001 and 2007 he served as assistant director for clinical toxicology Scientific Laboratory Division where he was responsible for the substance of abuse detection program in addition to clinical toxicology ER supervision unit. Between 2007 and 2010 he served as assistant professor of clinical toxicology – Taibah University- Saudi Arabia. From 2011-2015 Dr. Ahmed served as toxicology consultant- Dammam Poison Control Center- Saudi Arabia, director assistant for scientific issues and head of medical education department. He has published numerous scientific articles in peer reviewed scientific journals on a wide range of topics including substances of abuse drugs, toxicological homicidal attempts, therapeutic drug monitoring, forensic alcohol determination and pediatric toxicity.

Dr. Samia Hassan Rizk is a qualified Medical Practitioner with 35 years of versatile experience across diverse roles in the organizational hierarchy, having significant exposure in bone marrow pathology, clinical laboratory practice, research and management in the health field including pediatric laboratory hematology, and special training and work experience in research ethics. Presently she is associated as Deputy Director of the Medical Education Unit, School of Medicine, Cairo University and Professor (Department of Clinical Pathology) at Cairo University, Egypt.
Dr. Samia Hassan is also a member of the University IRB. Her work involves teaching undergraduate & postgraduate (master and doctorate degree) students in clinical pathology, institutional training in research ethics, collaborating with board of examiners in conducting practical/ oral undergraduate and postgraduate examinations. She is also involved in curriculum development for hematology teaching for postgraduate degrees in clinical pathology, also an editorial member in the Cairo University Medical Journal. She has been involved in organizing IRB activities encompassing preparation of SOPs, committees & checklists etc., in addition to my regular membership activities.
She is also an editorial member of the Journal of Blood disorders.
Dr Piyush Vyas is a board certified clinical Oncologist, presently undergoing his next super specialty training in Clinical haematology. Dr. Piyush Vyas has published many articles in peer reviewed journals, is /was member of many professional societies like ESMO, ASCO, AACR, EHA, Polish Society of Clinical Oncology. Dr Piyush Vyas is a clinician and also an academician teaches undergraduate and postgraduate students at Medical University of Warsaw, Poland. Having had passed the ESMO (European Society of Medical Oncology) exam, he has shown his expertise on Oncological and hematological malignancies. His main interest is in haematological and oncological malignancies. His group was the first to administer chemotherapy and publish a case study of a patient with metastatic duodenal cancer with co-existent immune thrombocytopenic Purpura.
Dr. Piyush Vyas has published many articles on Hepatocellular carcinoma and on Immune thrombocytopenia -his special interest topics. He has the credit to publish the first case study of the longest surviving patient with adenocarcinoma of lung treated with EGFR kinase inhibitor “Erlotinib”. Not only is he an excellent clinician appreciated worldwide, but also has published many review articles, case studies, presented posters at international conferences. Dr Piyush Vyas is on the editorial board of many reputed oncological journals, surgery journals, Haematology journals. He had been invited for keynote lecture and to head a discussion panel on oncology/ Haematology topic. He is a pioneer in treating solid tumors with haematological diseases, especially treating solid tumors with Immune thrombocytopenias.”
Dr. Dezső Tóth MD, PhD is an Associate Professor in the Department of General Surgery at the Kenézy University Hospital in Debrecen, Hungary. He is a founder member of the County’s Breast Center. He graduated from University of Debrecen, Medical School in 1997 and in Medical Economics in 2001. He is certified in General Surgery and Clinical Oncology and he received his Ph.D. in „Examination of lymph node involvement in solid neoplasms – Sentinel lymph node biopsy“ with summa cum laude in 2012.
His research area is in surgical oncology, especially in the field of gastric and breast cancer. He is author and co-author of over 20 peer-reviewed publications (original article, review, chapter and case reports) published in prestigious scientific journals, such as Gastric Cancer, The Breast, Molecular Cancer, Pathology and Oncology Research, Chinese Journal of Cancer Research and World Journal of Gastrointestinal Oncology.
Dr. Tawfik Abdo Saleh is a faculty member in the Chemistry Department at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals. He has published many books and several papers in international refereed journals and conference proceedings, authored and edited several books and book chapters, and he is a member of several local and international scientific societies. He has supervised many graduate students. His expertise includes the synthesis, design, and preparation of materials, nanomaterials, nanocomposites, and hybrid materials and their applications. His expertise also includes materials characterization using various techniques.
Dr Zafar Iqbal is Research Professor in Chemistry and Environmental Science at the New Jersery Institute of Technology (NJIT) and Founding President of Carbo Met, a nanotechnology-based company in Newark, New Jersey. Before joining NJIT in 2001, Dr. Zafar Iqbal was Senior Principal Scientist and Program Manager at Honeywell’s Corporate Laboratory in Morristown, New Jersey, where he spent about 20 years of his career and nurtured a wide range of technologies. He obtained his Ph.D. in Surface Physics from the Cavendish Laboratory, University of Cambridge, England in 1967 and was a Science Research Council Fellow in Molecular Sciences at the University of Warwick, England between 1967-69. In 1969 he joined the US Army’s Feltman Research Laboratory in Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey, as a research scientist where he remained until 1977. Before joining Honeywell (then Allied Signal) in 1983, he returned to Europe, where he was a Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of Inorganic Chemistry in the University of Zurich, Switzerland and visiting Professor at the Laboratory for Solid State Physics of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH), in Zurich.
He received the US Army Science Paul A. Siple Medal, the prestigious Alexander von Humboldt Fellowship in 1977-78 which he spent at the University of Konstanz in Germany, and numerous research and development awards from both Picatinny Arsenal and Honeywell. He has published over 250 papers in refereed journals, including articles in Science and Nature. He has edited two monographs, published numerous book chapters and is currently working on a monograph on Nanomaterials to be published by the Cambridge University Press. He has 25 awarded US patents on technologies ranging from high temperature superconductors, conducting polymers, carbon nanotubes and fuel cells. He was the co-winner in 2009 and 2015 of the Thomas Edison Patent Award. He is a Fellow of the American Physical Society.
Dr. Nadeem Kizilbash received his Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Longwood College in U.S.A. His Master’s degree was also in Chemistry from Washington University in St. Louis, U.S.A. His doctoral degree was awarded in Biophysics from Boston University in U.S.A. He is presently working as an Assistant Professor of Biochemistry at Northern Border University in Arar, Saudi Arabia. He has published fifteen papers in various journals on topics as diverse as Proteomics, Protein Structure, Drug Delivery and Gene Polymorphism. Dr. Kizilbash is currently a member of editorial board of three international research journals. Nadeem Kizilbash received his Ph.D. in Biophysics from Boston University in 2003. His doctoral thesis was titled: “Biophysical Studies of Fatty Acid Binding Proteins & Hydrophobic Ligands”. He completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Penn State University and is presently serving as Head & Assistant Professor of Biochemistry at Northern Border University (Arar, Saudi Arabia). He is the author of more than 38 papers published internationally.
Dr. Giuseppe De Rosa graduated in 1997 in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology at the University of Napoli Federico II. In 2001 he completed a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Technology with a dissertation with the title “Delivery of biotechnological drugs by biodegradable microspheres”, with research activity carried out in part at the University Paris-Sud of Chatenay-Malabry (France). From 1999 to 2002, he carried out research activity at the University Paris-Sud of Chatenay-Malabry (France). From 2002 Dr De Rosa was assistant professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy – University of Naples Federico II. From 2014, Dr De Rosa is associate professor at the Department of Pharmacy, University of Naples Federico II. In the same year, he received the national scientific qualification as full professor. Dr De Rosa is author of about 80 papers on international journals, 4 book chapters and different patent applications (with granted PCT, US and EU patent). Dr De Rosa is Editor in Chief of International Journal of Medical Nano Research and member of the Editorial Board of different journals in the field of drug delivery; he was Lead Guest Editor for Journal of Drug Delivery co-Guest Editor for Journal of Amino Acids.
Research Interests: Design and development of drug delivery systems based on micro- and nanotechnologies, development of liposomes and other lipid-based nanovectors (e.g. self-assembling nanoparticles) for delivery of drugs especially designed for systemic or topical administration; polymeric particles for sustained release of drugs; semisolid formulations for topical administration of drugs.
Dr. Derya llem-Özdemir is working as Associate Professor at Ege University, Turkey. She received many awards and grants like Young Scientist Award, Outstanding Research Award and TUFTAD grant (2010). She has membership in professional societies and published more than 20 publications in peer reviewed scientific journals, book chapters. Her major research area is Radiopharmacy.
Dr. Arkady S. Voloshin is an internationally known scientist contributing in two areas of knowledge: biomechanics of human musculoskeletal system and optical methods in experimental mechanics. Dr. Voloshin was on a faculty of Iowa State University, Ames, IA (1979-1984) and currently at Lehigh University, Bethlehem, PA (1984-now). During this period he supervised over 25 visiting scientists and 15 MS and PhD students. In 1995-1996 Dr. Voloshin was a Henry Goldberg Visiting Professor, Department of Biomedical Engineering, Technion, Haifa, Israel. He is on faculty of Department of Mechanical Engineering and Mechanics and Department of Bioengineering at Lehigh University, where he teaches mechanics and biomechanics graduate and undergraduate courses. He was elected Full Professor of the Ljubljana University, Ljubljana, Slovenia in 2009.
He is author of over 90 papers published in the high quality, internationally recognized scientific journals and over 175 papers presented and published in proceedings of various international and national scientific conferences. He also contributed chapters to several books. He is an editorial board member of many national and international journals and also a member of various international scientific committees.
Dr Ajay Kumar Singh has received his PhD in 1994 from Banaras Hindu University-Varanasi (India) on problems relating to Chiral Optical Fibers. He joined as a Lecturer in the Electrical and Electronics Group of Birla Institute of Technology and Science-Pilani-India in 1995, April and was promoted as Astt. Professor in 2003, December. In June 2005, he joined as a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Multimedia University-Melaka Malaysia. He has supervised 4 PhDs students and 4 Master thesis. At present he is supervising one Master thesis and co-supervisor of one PhD and two Master students. His areas of interest are modeling of submicron MOS devices, Low power VLSI circuit design and nanotechnology/nanoelectronics. He has published more than 60 research papers in International Journals and International conferences and reviewed many research papers submitted to various international journals. Dr Singh has authored two books and contributed two research chapters. He is a Fellow of the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers, India (Fellow) and a Senior Member of IEEE. Dr Singh was invited to the technical program committee for various international and national conferences.
Dr. Ranjit Kumar has completed his Ph.D. at the age of 28 years from Patna University, Patna, India. Professor Abel Vieira is born in Lisbon, Portugal, in 1951. He obtained his Graduation in Chemical Engineering in 1974 at Instituto Superior Técnico (Lisbon), his PhD in Chemistry in 1988 at Universidade Técnica de Lisboa and his Habilitation in Chemistry, speciality Organic Chemistry in 2011 at Universidade Nova de Lisboa. In both Universities he has been professor of several disciplines in the area of Organic Chemistry. He integrates a research group in Green Chemistry at Universidade Nova de Lisboa – LAQV-REQUIMTE – where he runs his own research group (Oxidative stress and Antioxidants) and keeps several collaborations with other portuguese and foreign groups, mainly in France and Germany. He supervised several PhD and Post-Doc students, is a referee of international peer reviewed journals and member of Scientific Societies, such as the Portuguese Chemical Society, where he was the head of the Free Radicals Group. He participated in / organized national and international scientific conferences, was a member of a European COST Action and published in high IF journals. Professor Vieira, besides his mother language, Portuguese, is fluent in French, German and English.

Dr. Yi Charlie Chen, professor of biology, has taught at Alderson Broaddus University, USA since 2000. He received his B.S. and M.S. from Zhejiang University in China. He then received his second M.S. and Ph.D. from Washington State University. Dr. Chen has published over 70 different papers and book chapters in a wide range of scientific journals and books. Dr. Chen is currently working on molecular biology of cancer research. His research has focused on the inhibition of anti-cancer drugs, especially natural compounds, on cancer growth with emphasis on angiogenesis, cell cycle and apoptosis. Dr. Filippo Berto received his PhD in design and construction of machines (administrative headquarters of the University of Florence) and becomes in 2006 a researcher at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Padua, Italy. He currently teaches ‘Mechanical components’ in the degree course in Mechatronics Engineering and mechanical design methods in postgraduate degree in Product Innovation Engineering. Dr. Ly received a degree in Biomedical Engineering and Innovations Management (Pierre and Marie Curie University, Paris, France). He graduated in Master of Social Health (MSH) from Ecoles des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales (School of High studies in social Sciences) (Paris). Dr. Hossein Lavvafi holds a PhD from Case Western Reserve University in Materials Sciences and Engineering. Upon graduation, he worked in R&D industry for a few years as a Sr. Materials Scientist. During that time, he served as a lead researcher on several R&D projects in the orthopedic and Medical Device industry where he specialized in developing high performance implant alloys and surgical instruments. Following that, he joined the department of radiation oncology at the Eleanor N. Dana Cancer Center of University of Toledo Medical Center to prepare for a career as Therapeutic Medical Physicist followed by a 2-year CAMPEP accredited residency at Loyola University Medical Center of Chicago.

Dr. Anna M Tacón is currently an associate professor of health at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. Her academic background involves undergraduate and graduate degrees in psychology as well as human development and family studies with a focus on family of origin and adult health. Her worldview, therefore, involves a unique integration of psychology, development and family issues, and health from a bio psychosocial perspective. Research interests involve working with breast cancer patients as well as chronic pain patients. In addition to conceptual and theoretical works, the majority of her research involves conducting the Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program for women with breast cancer to determine the practical efficacy and benefits of this program for this population. Some factors investigated include: mental adjustment to cancer, pain anxiety, pain catastrophizing, pain self-efficacy, pain intensity, attachment style, emotional control, existential well-being, grief and loss, cancer symptoms of distress, and cancer-related fatigue.
Dr. Adel Tahseen Aref was graduated from Ain Shams Medical School, Cairo, Egypt, with grade excellent with honour in 2003. He had one year as intern at Ain Shams University hospitals. In 2005, he started his residency training at the Clinical Oncology Department, Ain Shams University hospitals. He got his master degree in Clinical Oncology in 2008. He worked as Medical Oncology specialist for one year in Cairo and he worked as medical oncology specialist for 5 years at Dubai Hospital. In 2010 he got his Medical Oncology certification from the European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO). In 2013, he got Medical Oncology Speciality certification from the Royal College of Physician, UK. In 2015, he moved to Kingdom of Bahrain where he worked as senior medical oncology specialist for one year.
In 2012, he established ‘MedicalSurveys-17 Research Group’, with a group of young oncologist who are working in different institutes in the Middle East region. He had a number of projects, which aimed to screen the oncological clinical practice in the Middle East.
In 2016 he was awarded PhD scholarship from the University of Adelaide. In June 2016, he joined the Lipid and prostate cancer research group to start his PhD project at the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI). His PhD research project is about the effect of obesity and abnormal metabolic profile on prostate cancer incidence and aggressiveness.

Dr. Matthew Ware completed his PhD in the field of cancer nanomedicine at the Department of Nanomedicine, Houston Methodist Research Institute, Houston, Texas in collaboration with the Centre for Nanohealth, Swansea University, UK. His research focused on innovative nanomedicine approaches for the treatment of pancreatic cancer. Upon completion of his PhD, he was awarded the ‘Best PhD student in the Systems Processing Engineering Center’ (SPEC) at Swansea University Award. SPEC is home to several established centers in the United Kingdom including the Centre for Complex Fluid Processing, Centre for Nano Health, Centre for Water Advanced Technologies and Environmental Research, Electronic Systems Design Centre, Multidisciplinary Nanotechnology Centre and Welsh Centre for Printing and Coating. He have also received national awards for his work including a recent feature on his research by the director of NIH, Dr Francis Collins. He was recruited for his postdoctoral training in the fields of Nanomedicine and Surgical research to the team of Dr. Steven Curley, at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas, where he specialize in improving drug disposition and efficacy in pancreatic and hepatic cancers using a non-invasive radio frequency treatment. Dr. John F. Bebawy, MD is an Associate Professor of Anesthesiology & Neurological Surgery at Northwestern University. He obtained a Dr.-Degree from the University of Duesseldorf in 1988, Habilitation (PhD) on “All-ceramic resin-bonded bridges” in 1997, Venia legendi and Position as an Associate Professor and Degree of a “Qualified Specialist in Prosthodontics” from the German Association of Prosthodontics and Dental Materials Science (DGZPW) in 1997. Dr. Emmanuel Andres is a Professor & Head of the Department of Internal Medicine at University of Strasbourg, France. In 1996, Dr Emmanuel Andres received his MD degree in Internal Medicine, at the University of Strasbourg, France. He worked as an associate professor in the University Hospital of Strasbourg, France. In 1998 he worked as PhD in Molecular Biology in the Laboratory of Professor Hoffmann (2011, Nobel Prize of Medicine) in the field of cationic antimicrobial peptides and pathogens – host relations. In 2002, he was nominated Professor at the University of Strasbourg, France. He also was in the head of an Internal Medicine Department (of 62 beads) in the University hospital of Strasbourg, France. He was awarded the French Society of Haematology, price for research in the field of anaemia related to cobalamin or folate deficiencies in 2004. Achievements include development of research in: all type of anaemia, neutropenia and thrombocytopenia, particularly drug-induced neutropenia and agranulocytosis or thrombocytopenia; haematopoietic growth factors; and cobalamin deficiencies. Brian Wigdahl, Ph.D., is professor and chair of Microbiology and Immunology, director of the Institute for Molecular Medicine and Infectious Disease, and director of the institute’s Center for Molecular Virology and Translational Neuroscience at the Drexel University College of Medicine. An internationally recognized molecular virologist, Dr. Wigdahl focuses his immediate research on the molecular mechanisms, treatment, and prevention of immunologic abnormalities, cancer, and progressive neurologic disorders caused by members of the retrovirus and herpesvirus families. He has a total of more than 200 published or in press peer-reviewed publications. He is currently the executive director of the PhD/MS program in Molecular Medicine and six MS graduate programs including Infectious Disease, Immunology, Biomedicine and Business, Biomedicine and Law, Biomedicine and Entrepreneurship, and Biomedicine and Digital Design at Drexel in addition to his general oversight of the PhD Graduate Program in Microbiology and Immunology.
He has trained more than 30 PhD students and 15 MS degree students (including 4 MD/PhD students) and 16 postdoctoral fellows during this 35 year career at Penn State and Drexel. A senior associate editor of the Journal of NeuroVirology, Dr. Wigdahl also served for six years as president of the International Society for NeuroVirology, and currently serves as treasurer of the Society. During his time at Penn State, Dr. Wigdahl was awarded the Samuel Hinkle Society Outstanding Young Investigator award and more recently at Drexel University College of Medicine, the Julian Marsh, MD, Faculty Scholar Award for excellence in scientific research, outstanding teaching skills, and consistent high quality leadership. Al-Sawalha received her PhD degree in Pharmacology from university of Houston, USA and currently she is an associate professor at the Clinical Pharmacy Department at Jordan University of Science and Technology. The research focus of Al-Sawalha is determining the mechanism of effect of β-blockers and β-2 adrenoceptor signaling in the development of asthma phenotype in murine model of asthma. In addition, Al-Sawalha focuses on elucidating the effect of waterpipe tobacco smoke exposure, active and prenatal, on the function of different organs and offspring health utilizing appropriate animal models.
Dr. Orhan E. Arslan is professor and director of Advanced Neuroanatomy and Anatomy Programs in the Department of Pathology and Cell Biology at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. He also serves as preclerkship integration director. He holds doctoral degrees in anatomy and neuroscience, as well as in veterinary medicine and surgery. He has a successful track record as a medical educator and scientist. He has designed and implemented significant innovative curricular modules in clinical neuroscience and anatomy. These curricular innovation included a system-based anatomy and neuroanatomy courses, procedure-based, ultrasound-based and landmark based anatomy that have been successfully introduced into the medical curriculum. He has also designed a multidisciplinary board review module that integrates neuroanatomy, anatomy, histology and embryology. He has been actively involved in the implementation of problem-based and the clinical presentation-based curricula. He served as curricular consultant in anatomy and neuroscience at several national and international medical schools. He has an extensive experience in preparing medical students for the USMLE as he conducted series of reviews at national and state levels. His teaching career has been distinguished with several awards, including Basic Science Professor of the Year, Dean’s Performance Award, Most Outstanding Instructor, Golden Apple and Interprofessionalism awards, among many others, at both Rosalind Franklin University School of Medicine (RFU) and the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. Dr. Fatemeh Farshadpour is an assistant professor at Bushehr University of Medical Sciences, where she teaches medical virology, practical virology, molecular cell biology, microorganism genetics, and eukaryotic and prokaryotic molecular cell biology. In addition to her teaching position, she works as a researcher at Persian Gulf Tropical Medicine Research Center. Her work has centered around the viral hepatitis. Her research interests include molecular and epidemiological studies of viral hepatitis, recombinant protein and vaccine studies. She has developed a high-density multiepitope DNA construct as a candidate vaccine against Hepatitis E Virus (HEV) and two in-house ELISA kits for detection of IgG antibodies against HEV. Dr. Tahir A. Baig is working as an Assistant Professor at Att-ur-Rehman School of Applied Biosciences (ASAB), NUST, Pakistan. Dr. Shanzhong Gong is a Post-doctoral Research Scientist at University of Texas at Austin, Austin, USA. He has extensive experience in studying ligand binding kinetics (one-step and multi-steps binding), slow onset inhibitor binding, inhibition pattern, single turnover, steady state and pre-steady state kinetics, using assays including equilibrium titration, double mixing, rapid quench flow, stopped flow and etc. In addition, he has hands-on experience in purifying proteins using HPLC, and characterizing enzyme or DNA dynamics using fluorescence assay. He also has expertise with experiment design and evaluation using KinTek software simulation. He also mentored several undergraduates and trained them purifying proteins using HPLC, and performing kinetic experiments. In addition, he served as a teaching assistant for more than eight classes of undergraduates in UT Austin.

After completing his secondary education at the Italian High School in Istanbul, he completed his medical education at the University of Bologna, Italy. He was a doctor of immunology at Istanbul University Health Sciences Institute. He is currently a member at Istanbul University’s Aziz Sancar Institute of Experimental Medicine (Aziz Sancar DETAE) Department of Immunology and Istanbul Medicine Faculty Department of Medical Pharmacology, and is also Deputy Director at the Istanbul University Diabetes Application and Research Center. Dr. Gurol’s primary interest is transplantation of islets of Langerhans.

Sreenivasan Sasidharan has completed his PhD from Universiti Sains Malaysia in 2007. He is the Associate Professor in Institute for Research in Molecular Medicine of Universiti Sains Malaysia, a public University in Malaysia. He has over 160 publications with total impact factor of 180 (more than 1000 citation), multiple book chapters, significant grant support, and over 100 posters/abstracts at national and international meetings as well as Organizer, Keynote, Invited Speaker and chair of International & National Congresses. He has been serving as an Editorial Board Member and Reviewer of international journals, local and international research grants. He reviewed more than 150 manuscripts for international journals. His research interests include medicinal plants and their role in Health and Disease Management, Molecular Mechanisms and Biology of Free Radicals, miRNA, Anticancer, Antioxidants, Antimicrobial and also isolations and identification of phytochemicals from local natural resources for various biotechnology purposes including green synthesis of gold nanoparticle. Dr. Osamu Ishibashi received his MSc from Tokyo Institute of Technology (Japan) in 1993. In the same year he joined a pharmaceutical company, Ciba-Geigy Japan (currently Novartis Pharma), and conducted basic research leading to the development of novel anti-osteoporosis drugs, including cathepsin K inhibitors. Based on the achievements in the company, he received his Ph.D from Nagaoka University of Technology (Japan) in 2000. He then accepted academic positions including a post-doctoral fellow in Max-Planck Institute of Biochemistry (Germany) and a senior scientist in Niigata University (Japan). In 2006, he joined Nippon Medical School as a senior assistant professor, and started new projects as to microRNA-mediated regulation of cell functions. In 2012, he accepted the current position (associate professor) in Osaka Prefecture University to develop original studies as to genome-wide transcriptomics associated with various diseases including cancer.
Dr. Ana Teresa Sanches Silva is working as a Researcher at the National Institute for Agricultural and Veterinary Research (INIAV), Vila do Conde, Portugal. She obtained the degree in Pharmacy from the University of Coimbra, Portugal, in 2001 and in 2005 received her European Ph.D. in Pharmacy from the University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain. Afterwards she started a one year post-doc contract at USC. Dr. Mina T. Kelleni works as an assistant professor of pharmacology, faculty of medicine, Minia Univesity, Egypt. He has earned his MBBS degree from faculty of medicine, Minia University, Egypt with honor in 2004. He’s chosen a career in pharmacology after feeling frustrated from the lack of effective remedies for many diseases dedicating sincere efforts in his MSc research to explore a new remedy for NAFLD and in his PhD research to decrease the toxicity of antineoplastic drugs. He’s struggling to raise pharmacovigilance in Egypt as well as to ban the toxic and carcinogenic drugs which are sorrowfully widely circulating in the Middle East and African markets. Dr. Dan-Ping Hu is working as a Research specialist at Department of Urology, University of Illinois at Chicago, USA. Since 2009, her research has been focusing on utilizing novel models with human prostate stem or progenitor cells to investigate oestrogen and endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs) reprogramming prostate development, steroid receptor action in the developing and cancerous prostate, the roles of prostate stem-progenitor cells in prostate cancer initiation and progression, and also molecular mechanisms underlying EDCs-induced prostate carcinogenesis.

Dr. Mony Fraer is an Associate Professor at University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics, Iowa City, USA. He has been working as an academic nephrologist since 2005. Dr. Narendra P Singh received his PhD degree in Molecular Biology from St. Petersburg, Russia in 1991. He worked as a Post-doc or as a Research faculty at many institutions in the US including, Auburn University, Institute of Molecular Biology and Medicine, Scranton, University of Louisville, Virginia Commonwealth University, and since 2005, at University of South Carolina School of Medicine. Presently, he is serving as the Director of the Analytical Core of the NIH-NCCAM Center for Inflammation and Autoimmunity and alsoserving as the Program Director of Immune Monitoring Core (Immune Modulation) of the Center for Dietary Supplements and Inflammation funded through the NIH Center of Biomedical Research Excellence (COBRE) program. He has been working in the area of Molecular Biology, Molecular Immunology, and Immunotoxicology for more than 20 years. Presently, he is investigating the use of several plant-derived compounds (Resveratrol, Indoles, and cannabinoids) for treatment of autoimmune (Multiple Sclerosis, Lupus) and inflammatory (Colitis) diseases. His research interest is also in the area Immunotoxicology focusing on understanding TCDD- (Dioxin), an environmental pollutant and highly toxic compound, and Diethylstilbestrol- (DES) induced molecular mechanisms leading to immunotoxicity and lon-term effects on human and animals. He had published over 65 papers, several in high impact journals (Immunity, JBC, Cancer Research, Journal of Immunology, Molecular Pharmacology, PLoS ONE, JPET, Molecular Nutrition and food Research etc.). He served as a Chair at many national scientific meetings of the Society of Toxicology in the area of Immunotoxicology. He also served on NIH Study Sections to review research grant proposals.
Dr. Jose “Tony” Carugno is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology with AAGL fellowship training in Advanced Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery, Laparoscopy, Robotic Surgery and Pelvic Pain. He received his medical degree and completed residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in his home country at the Maternidad Concepcion Palacios, Central University of Venezuela. Completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Staten Island University Hospital. He completed his fellowship training in Advanced Gynecologic Surgery, Laparoscopy, Robotic Surgery and Pelvic Pain at Florida Hospital Orlando (AAGL). He then joined the faculty of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department at the University of Miami where he currently functions as Director of the Minimally Invasive Gynecologic/Robotic Surgery Unit. He is a faculty member of the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine where is actively involved in medical education. He has a special interest in pain conditions and is a current Board Member of the Pelvic Pain Special Interest Group of the AAGL.

Professor Noah Isakov holds the Joseph H Krupp Chair in Cancer Immunobiology at the Shraga Segal Department of Microbiology, Immunology and Genetics, Faculty of Health Sciences, at Ben Gurion University of the Negev, in Beer Sheva, Israel. He graduated from the Weizmann Institute of Science in Rehovot, Israel (1981) and worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, MN (1981-1983) and the Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla, CA (1983-1987). Professor Akira Sugawara belongs to the Department of Molecular Endocrinology, Tohoku University Graduate School of Medicine, Sendai, Japan. Dr. Patricia Riccio is a faculty member at Drexel University. She is currently serving as the Course Chair for Research 503, Research Methods and Biostatistics, a core course in the Graduate Program. She has previously held several Nursing positions at major research universities in Southern California. With a deep rooted interest in Alzheimer’s disease, studying both the patient and their caregivers, Dr. Riccio has received a number of funded grants and performed research studies, studying sleep, in both of these populations. In addition, her second research interest involves educational studies among graduate students. Recent presentations involve studying critical thinking skills and their predictions in graduate nursing students. Additionally, examination of practice-based problems and research-based interventions and gaps in the literature is another research interest which has been presented at the Sigma Theta Tau International Research Congress. Several manuscripts directly relating to both of these areas have been produced. Dr. Riccio was awarded a Fulbright Faculty Research Award in 2001, granted by the State Department of the United States. Dr. Riccio is an active member of the Sleep Research Society as an appointed member. She also belongs to Sigma Theta Tau International and a number of other nursing organizations.
Dr. Saleh M. Al-Daghreer is a certified specialist in Orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics practicing in Edmonton, Alberta. He received his Bachelor Degree in Dental Medicine & Surgery from King Abdulaziz University in 2004, which after he practiced general dentistry for two years. Then he joined the department of Orthodontics at King Abdul Aziz University as an academic staff member. Then he did PhD and clinical residency in Orthodontics at University of Alberta which after he got the Royal College of Dentist of Canada fellowship in the specialty of Orthodontics. Then he did a post-doctoral fellowship at the department of Surgery working with iRSM Canada (Institute of Reconstructive Sciences in Medicine) and currently he is attending a part-time MBA program at the U of A. He is passionate about the profession of orthodontics and the implementation of new technologies in it.
Dr. Ahmet Arif Celebi is a Postdoctoral Fellow/ Research Scholar Orthodontics, School of Dentistry, The University of Alabama at Birmingham, USA. Previously he worked as Assistant Professor at Zirve University, Faculty of Dentistry, Gaziantep, Turkey from 2015-16 and as Lecturer at Ishik University, Faculty of Dentistry, Erbil, Kurdistan from 2013- 2015. His Research Interests include Three-dimensional evaluation of Facial Morphology in different populations (Research is conducted by utilizing 3D records of 1500 patients in The University of Alabama at Birmingham); The use of a new software application, SICAT Function, and cone beam computed tomography simulation; Development of innovative appliances for orthognathic surgery, condylar hypoplasia and cleft patients; Lingual Orthodontics. After working in the field of oncology and translational research at several medical centers in Bonn, Berlin and Würzburg he is now scientist at the Institute of Cancer Research in London (GB). Dr. Giuseppe Murdaca is Currently working as Assistant professor in Internal Medicine at University of Genova (Italy). Dr. Federica Canzan PhD, MS, RN is a Clinical instructor and Adjunct Professor of evidence based nursing at the School of Nursing of the University of Verona, from 2015. Dr. Federica earned a PhD in Educational Research from the University of Verona, the Master’s Program in Nursing Sciences at the University of Verona in November 2009 obtaining a full positive evaluation (110/110). She worked as a Registered Nurse from January 1999 until December 2002 in the Surgical Unit at city Hospital in Verona, and from December 2002 to May 2009 in the Intensive Unit of Cardiac Surgery, in the same period she collaborated with the School of Nursing of the University of Verona for the activities of laboratory concerning practical and relational skills, for the annual examinations of apprenticeship (OSCE) and as students’ preceptor. Dr. Iryna Branets, DDS is a Clinical Educator in the Department of Cariology and Comprehensive Care, New York University College of Dentistry. Dr. Branets graduated from the Medical University, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine and New York University College of Dentistry. Dr. Branets is a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology and the American Academy of Facial Esthetics. Research interests are radiation dosimetry, radiation dose reduction and radiation image quality.
Dr. Curd M. L. Bollen is working at Parimplant Research Group, The Netherlands. He studied dentistry at the universities of Hasselt and Leuven (1987-1992). Afterwards he started his training in periodontology and implantology, as assistant at the same Catholic University in Leuven (head: Prof. dr. D. van Steenberghe). In that same period, he began his PhD-research, which he finalized in 1996 with his promotion. The title of his PhD-thesis was: “Full-mouth disinfection and hard surface smoothening reduce the subgingival microbial load”. In 1997 he received his MSc-diploma in periodontology and implantology at the same university. In 2016 he obtained his MClinDent in Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry at the University of the Pacific, Stockton, US.
He has published more than 25 international scientific articles in peer reviewed dental journals. He also published 20 national articles. Dr. Bollen is co-author of several books in the field of periodontology and halitosis. He is Editor in Chief of the Journal of Dental Health, Oral Disorders & Therapy and editor of 4 other online dental journals. Dr. Andy Choi is an early career researcher who received his Ph.D. from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) in Australia in 2004 on the use of computer modelling and simulation known as finite element analysis (FEA) to examine the biomechanical behavior of implants installed into a human mandible. After completing his Ph.D., he expanded his research focus from FEA to sol-gel synthesis of multifunctional calcium phosphate nano coatings and nano composite coatings for dental and biomedical applications. In late 2010, Dr. Choi was successfully awarded the internationally competitive Endeavour Australia Cheung Kong Research Fellowship Award and undertook post-doctoral training at the Faculty of Dentistry of the University of Hong Kong focusing on the application of FEA in dentistry and the development of calcium phosphate nano-bioceramics. He is currently serving as an associate editor for the Journal of the Australian Ceramic Society and on the editorial boards for a number of dentistry, nanotechnology, and orthopedics journals. To date, Dr. Choi has authored over 50 publications including 1 book (Thin Films and Nanocoatings of Hydroxyapatite on Titanium Implants: Production Methods and Adhesion Testing [ISBN 978-3-330-06425-6]) and 23 book chapters on calcium phosphate, nano-biomaterial coatings, sol-gel technology, marine structures, drug delivery, tissue engineering, and finite element analysis in nanomedicine and dentistry. Dr. Radiah C. Minor is currently Associate Professor of Immunology at Department of Animal Sciences, College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences, North Carolina A&T State University with training/experience in cell and molecular biology. The laboratory using molecular methods such as western blotting, PCR, RT-PCR, ELISA and flow cytometry, F.I.S.H; in tandem with in vitro and in vivo (mouse and pig) models to investigate immune regulation. The long-term goal of the Minor lab or Laboratory of Animal Immune Responses (LAIR) is to find natural and effective solutions that promote positive immune responses and support overall health of animals and humans. The LAIR projects include; investigating the effect of dietary supplements on health and immunity and characterizing immune modulation by gut microbiota. Additionally, the lab is actively involved in collaborative projects investigating innate immune and inflammatory responses. Radiah C. Minor is passionate about teaching science and exposing students of all ages to STEM. She mentors NCAT undergraduate, graduate students as well as engages preschool and K-12 students in hands-on science activities and experiments.
Dr. Amy Martinez Garcie received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Master of Science in Nursing (Acute Care Nurse Practitioner), and post-Master’s Certificate (Pediatric Nurse Practitioner) from Northwestern State University, Natchitoches, Louisiana. She received her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Rush University in Chicago, Illinois. She has worked in many areas of healthcare and spoken internationally on topics related to pediatric sexual abuse. She is currently an Assistant Professor in the ASN/BSN/MSN Programs within the College of Nursing and School of Allied Health at Northwestern State University, Natchitoches, Louisiana.

Dr. Hua-chuan Zheng is working as a Professor in Cancer Research Center at The Liaoning Medical University, China. He graduated from Faculty of Library and Bioinformatics, China Medical University in 1999 and have been studying his master and doctor courses oncopatholgy in Cancer Institute of China Medical University. To break the limitation of pathomorphological approaches, he came to Japan and began to study molecular biology. After good at the biochemical methods, he returned to the oncological field. His research interests included the establishment of spontaneous tumors of transgenic and conditional knockout mice, molecular mechanisms of tumorigenesis and progression of malignant tumor cells, early diagnosis and target therapy of malignancies. Until now, About 130 papers have been published and 10 grants achieved, including 2 natural science foundation of China.
Dr. Jianxun (Jim) Song is a tenured associate professor in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology, the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine, United States. The base of expertise on T cell biology needed to perform his research began to develop while he was a postdoctoral scholar and research scientist from the years 2001-2007 under the mentorship of Dr. Michael Croft at the La Jolla Institute for Allergy and Immunology. He became a junior faculty at The Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine in 2007, and extended his research on Developmental Immunology and Stem Cell Biology. As a PI on previous university-, foundation-, or NIH-funded grants, he laid the groundwork for the research by developing highly reactive T lymphocytes from pluripotent stem cells (PSC). His laboratory was the first to show that induced PSC differentiate into functional T cells for cell-based therapies. In addition to having the expertise to be successful with the research, he offers leadership and administrative skills that were developed during his independence as a mentor of graduate students and postdoctoral scholars. In summary, he has a demonstrated record of successful and productive research projects in the area.
Dr. Christina Lattner is an Assistant Clinical Professor at DePaul University and recent scholar from The Edmond J. Safra Visiting Nurse Faculty Program. Academia responsibilities include lecture and student advisory in the Master’s Entry Nursing and RN-MSN programs. Current curriculum achievements include development of hybrid courses in Applied Pathophysiology and Advanced Health Assessment; textbook chapter development for Pearson Publishing and curriculum design for The Parkinson’s Disease Foundation. Research application for DNP is related to aggregate populations with study of psychoeducational interventions that improve both preventative healthcare and the quality of life in urban adolescents. Doctoral dissertation focuses on sexual transmitted infection prevention of adolescents transitioning from pediatric to adult care. Educated as an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN), Dr. Lattner has over 15 years of nursing experience.Currently she serves on the board of the School of Nursing Admissions and Retention Committee, Association of Black Nursing Faculty and is a member of the International Association of Forensic Nurse examiners as a SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner).
Dr. Kathleen Tate is an Assistant Professor of Nursing at Northwestern State University. Kathleen teaches a variety of courses in the undergraduate nursing program and is an expert in Community & Public Health. Kathleen currently holds a Master’s Degree in Nursing, a Master’s Degree in Business and she is in the final stages of her Doctorate in Education with a focus on Curriculum Instruction & Design. Her research interests include the relationship of variables such as, emotional intelligence, preferred learning style, and standardized tests to academic success in undergraduate nursing students. When she is not researching predictors of success in undergraduate education, she loves to travel the globe with her family and friends. She has traveled extensively in the Unites States of America, Mexico, and Europe. Her travel goals include following in the footsteps of Mr. Phileas Fogg, the wealthy socialite in Jules Vern’s epic story, Around the World in 80 Days, by visiting each country at least once, albeit not in 80 days! Kathleen is married to her high-school sweetheart; they have two grown daughters, and they live in Texas.
Dr. Sara W. Day is the Assistant Dean for the Center for Community Partnerships and Nursing Innovation. Prior to joining UTHSC faculty she was the Director of Nursing Education and the Director of International Nursing at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Associate Professor at University of Alabama at Birmingham, School of Nursing and Director of Nursing Research and Evidence- Based Practice at Children’s Hospital of Alabama. She has 34 publications in peer reviewed medical and nursing journals with over 600 citations. She has traveled to 16 countries to present or directly implement her nursing programs. She has received grant funding from the National Institutes of Health, Health Resources and Services Administration, Oncology Nursing Society and the WES Foundation. In 2014, she was inducted as a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing for her significant contributions to nursing and health care.
Dr. Richard Pessagno is an Associate Professor of Nursing and the Program Coordinator of the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner program at Maryville University, in St. Louis, Missouri. He received his BSN from Catholic University, his MSN in Psychiatric Nursing from the University of Cincinnati, a postmasters Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner certificate from Vanderbilt University, and his doctorate from Chatham University. As a nationally recognized nurse practitioner and educator, Dr. Pessagno’s clinical expertise and scholarship has focused on psychiatric aspects of end of life care, group psychotherapy, postpartum depression, LGBT issues, HIV/AIDS, and complicated grief. His background includes active duty service in the US Army Nurse Corps and national health policy experience having served as a Senior Policy Analyst with the American Nurses Association. Dr. Pessagno has served in national and state elected offices within several psychiatric nursing organizations. His contributions to national and state nurse practitioner practice and education lead to his induction as a Fellow in the American Associaton of Nurse Practitioner. In 2016, he was awarded Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner by the Society of Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nurses of the NJ State Nurses Association.
Dr. Masashi Emoto is now a professor of Gunma University Graduate School of Health Sciences in Japan. He got the professorship in 1993 and his main research theme is NKT cells. Before coming back to Japan, he has worked at Max Planck Institute for Infection Biology as a higher ranking senior scientist with Prof. Dr. Stefan H. E. Kaufman, who was a president of International Union of Immunological societies, and published many articles in prestigious journals with high impact factor. He has concentrated on identification of new natural ligand(s) for invariant NKT cells and nowadays he has succeeded to determine their chemical structures. Thus, he is a leading scientist in the field of NKT cells. Concerning to Bacteriology, he is an expert in the field of intracellular bacterial infection in particular Listeria and Salmonella as well as Mycobacteria.

Dr. Xinghui Li got his Ph.D. in 2013 and is currently am doing my postdoc research in the University of Nebraska Medical Center. His research interests include immuno-metabolism, tumor immunology, macrophages, regulatory T cell and vaccine.
Dr Azita Hekmatdoost is working as an Associate Professor at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences (SBMU). She has received her MD and PhD from Tehran University of Medical Sciences in the field of Clinical Nutrition. She completed a fellowship in the Department of Gastroenterology and Nutrition at CFRI, University of British Columbia. Her primary research and teaching interests include clinical nutrition and diet therapy in GI and liver disorders. Dr. Hekmatdoost has received several awards and honors, such as Faculty Member with the Most Accomplishment Award at SBMU, in two consecutive years (2012, 2013). She also serves as an editorial member of several reputable journals such as the Journal of Liver and Clinical Research & Journal of Food and Nutrition Expert. She has published more than 40 papers in peer-reviewed journals and is an author of five books.
Dr. Debbie Beck PhD, MSA/MSN, RN, CNE, is Associate Professor at Chamberlain College of Nursing. She is accomplished educator, consultant, and administrator with over 36 years of experience in the nursing and health care field. Dr.Beck has been recognized by the International Nurses Association for outstanding leadership and for contributions to health care worldwide. Her background includes experience as an Associate Professor, Consultant, University Chair, Head Nurse, Nursing Supervisor, and Faculty Mentor. In the academic environment Dr. Beck has worked in both in a traditional classroom setting, online, and in blended modalities and has taught in BSN, RN-BSN, MSN, and DNP programs. She is a Subject Matter Expert and is an active member of curriculum development and design, assessment and policy development for a university based nursing program. As a Campus College Chair, she supervised, coordinated, and evaluated educational programs and operational activities for undergraduate and graduate Nursing and Health Care offerings at seven university campuses. Dr. Beck has planned and participated in the development of several community service and CEU educational seminars and conferences. Administrative experiences in practice settings include development and implementation of multiple quality assurance improvements, recruitment, retention, and evaluation of department staff. Dr. Beck is a member of multiple social service and professional nursing and organizations, is published and continues to be actively engaged in research.
Dr. Stacey L. Knight is an Assistant Professor and the Coordinator of the RN-BSN and RN-MSN (Post-Licensure) Articulation tracks at the Joanne Gay Dishman School of Nursing at Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. She graduated in May of 2015 with a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Loyola University in New Orleans, Louisiana with focus on Executive Leadership and in May of 2010 with a Master of Science in Nursing from Loyola University with focus on Health Care Systems Management. Her doctoral capstone project was entitled Evaluation of Clinical Reasoning Skills Using High Fidelity Simulation: Knowledge Retention and Role Differentiation. For the last six years she has taught at the undergraduate and graduate levels focusing on Adult Medical surgical nursing, Theories and Leadership and Management. Dr. Knight serves on multiple university committees and is an officer in the Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society. She is an invited speaker internationally, nationally, regionally, and locally.
Dr. Daniela Marzioni, Ancona is associate professor at Polytechnic University of Marche. She was a Researcher at the Polytechnic University of Marche from 2006 to 2016She worked as Assistant professor at the same University from 1993-1994. Herfield of research is the study of the molecules involved in the development and differentiation of the human placenta both in physiological and pathological conditions such as preeclampsia, intrauterine growth restriction and chorioamnionitis. In addition, she investigate the molecules involved in some uterine pathologies such as endometriosis. She use both morphological and biochemical-molecular techniques. Dr. Mankovsky Boris N., MD, is Professor and Head of the Diabetology Department at the National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education, Kiev, Ukraine. He was graduated from Kiev Medical University and completed training at Institute of Endocrinology, Kiev and Northwestern University, Chicago. He continued his professional carrier at Institute of Endocrinology, Kiev, University of Miami, USA and German National Diabetes Institute, Dusseldorf, Germany. He is the President of Ukrainian Diabetology Association. He is an expert in the field of cerebral complications of diabetes mellitus. He was elected as the Council Member of European Association for the Study of Diabetes (2005-2008) and Diabetic Neuropathy Study Group of EASD (Neurodiab) (2009-currently), He is a corresponding member of Ukrainian Academy of Medical Sciences (2010). He authored numerous publications in the peer-reviewed journals and book chapters. He serves as reviewer in many major medical journals such Diabetes Care, Diabetes, British Medical Journal and others. Dr. Alexander E. Berezin has received PhD in 1994 in the State Medical University of Zaporozhye (Ukraine). He is currently working as a Professor of Medicine in the State Medical University of Zaporozhye (Ukraine). His research goals are fundamental study of biological markers, the development of cardiovascular prevention and rehabilitation. Based on this research and training in heart failure he has received several awards and honors. Dr. Shyam Sundar Nandi, PhD (Postdoctoral fellow at University of Nebraska Medical Center) has experience in the field of heart failure and diabetes. He has expertise in diabetic heart failure and autophagy. His special interest is on microRNAs, autophagy, mitophagy, mitochondrial quality control axis and mitophagic cardiomyopathy in diabetic heart failure. He also has experience on regulation of β-adrenergic signaling, hyperhomocystinemia-H2S signaling, and pathological remodeling in diabetic heart. Additionally, he has good knowledge in molecular biology, proteomics and imaging techniques both at in vivo and in vitro levels. He has also experienced with evaluation of cardiac dysfunction by using MRI, echocardiography and pressure-volume loop. He has been honored with GOLD MEDAL for standing 1st position in MS and late Kamala Bala Mallick Award, and Best Student Award for scoring highest marks in MS. He received Best Poster Presentation Award in “International Symposium on Molecular Signaling” in 2013 and “Morris Karmazyn Award” for best poster in translational medicine, in annual meeting of the international academy of cardiovascular sciences: North American section in 2015. Dr. Yoshifumi Saisho received his medical degree in 1998 and his PhD degree in 2009, both from the Keio University School of Medicine in Tokyo. Before obtaining his current position as assistant professor, Dr. Saisho completed a three-year postdoctoral fellowship at the Larry L. Hillblom Islet Research Center at the University of California-Los Angeles’s David Geffen School of Medicine (Prof. Peter C. Butler). Dr. Saisho has served as chief resident in the Department of Internal Medicine at Shizuoka City Shimizu Hospital in Shizuoka and at Hiratsuka Municipal Hospital in Hiratsuka, Japan and was also a clinical fellow in the Division of Nephrology, Endocrinology and Metabolism at Keio University School of Medicine’s Department of Internal Medicine. Dr. Saisho is the author or coauthor of more than 60 publications. He is a member of the Fellows’ Association of the Japanese Society of Internal Medicine, the Fellows’ Association of the Japan Diabetes Society, the Japan Endocrine Society, and the Japan Atherosclerosis Society. Dr. Saisho’s area of interest is Diabetology, especially beta cell dysfunction in diabetes.

He also received honors and awards like-Award of Excellent Research from Taipei Association of Chinese Medicine. He received Prize of Best Research in Chinese Medicine from Taiwan Society of Chinese Medicine.
Dr. Sayegh Ayman Issa is Professor and Head, Department of Biomedical Sciences in Tuskegee University from 2014-Present. His research interests include understanding and successfully treating the major public health problem of obesity. The goal of his work is to localize the peripheral site(s) of action for gastrin releasing peptide (GRP) and cholecystokinin (CCK) that mediates reduction of meal size and prolongation of the intermeal interval by delivering the peptides into specific regions in the gastrointestinal tract through (1) utilizing a microsurgical, intra-arterial catheterization technique, (2) analyzing the min-to-min behaviors that lead to feeding to determine meal sizes, intermeal interval and satiety ratio, (3) using a BioDAQ feeding system to record and analyze the feeding behavior of the rats in a freely-fed, undisturbed environment. He also has experience in immunohistochemical detection of neuronal markers and various surgical techniques e.g. vagotomy, sympathectomy and myotomy / myectomy to determine the possible neuronal pathways by which these peptide reduce meal size and prolong the intermeal interval. The work is funded by the NIH and various pharmaceutical companies.
Dr. Marie Huffmaster Thomas, RN, MSN, PhD, CNE, FNP-C, has 25+ years of professional experience in oncology nursing, college teaching, statistical consulting and consulting on nursing education. She is a subject matter expert in medical surgical nursing and has served as lead instructor for a capstone RN course for ten years. Marie earned her undergraduate Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University, a Master’s in Nursing from the University of North Carolina Greensboro, a PhD in Educational Research from the University of North Carolina Greensboro, and a post-Master’s Family Nurse Practitioner Certificate from East Carolina University. She was inducted into the Great 100 Nurses in North Carolina in 2011 and received the Vanderbilt University School of Nursing President’s Award of Distinction in 2012. Marie is actively involved in community health initiatives and community service through the Shalom Project. She is a member of the American Nurses Association, the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and serves on the research committee of the Oncology Nurse Association. Marie will become the Coordinator of the Nurse Practitioner Program and Clinical Assistant Professor in the Fall of 2014. In her previous role as lead instructor at Forsyth Technical Community College, she served as president of the faculty senate and participated in college-wide QEP initiatives. As an educator, Marie constantly seeks creative ways to foster a dynamic learning environment and to promote high quality patient care and continuous improvement.
Dr. Donna M. Fountain is an Associate Professor in the Undergraduate and Graduate Nursing Programs at the LIU Brooklyn, Harriet Rothkopf Heilbrunn School of Nursing of Long Island University (LIU) in Brooklyn, New York. Donna is the elected President of the LIU School of Nursing Honor Society, and serves as co-chair of the Interprofessional Education Taskforce and other departmental and university-wide committees. Her Research interests include topics in RN work engagement, psychological conditions and work environments, leadership, community/public health, and nursing education. She has published articles on academic partnerships and the integration of community health across the curriculum, psychometric testing, and psychological factors that influence nurses working in US hospitals. Dr. Giuseppina Campisi born in Sciacca (AG, Italy) in 1965. She is Professor of Oral Pathology and Medicine, University of Palermo, and Head of Oral Medicine Unit, AOUP “Paolo Giaccone” of Palermo, where she manners different multidisciplinary projects: PRO.MO.G.E. (Prevention and Research on Oral Medicine, Gastroenterology and Hepatology – Member Unit), GOTEC (Head and Neck Oncology Management – Member Unit) and P.R.O.Ma.F (Prevention and Research of Medication related Osteonecrosis of the jaws – Coordinator Unit). She is Coordinator of Experimental Oncology and Surgery International PhD courses, and Master courses in Oral Medicine and Special Needs, University of Palermo. She conducts her research and clinical activities on Oral Pathology contexts, managing several oral screening programs (e.g. prevention and management of oral cancer and medication-related osteonecrosis of the jaws), projects aimed to improve oral health care management, also by teledentistry network, especially for medically-systemic complex patients, and numerous animal human multicenter trials (e.g. on new diagnostic and drug testing oral devices). She has authored over 200 scientific publications and attends as reviewer of the editorial board of several scientific journals. Currently, she is the vice-President of SIPMO (Italian Society of Oral Pathology and Medicine) and member of many scientific Societies in Oral and Maxillo-Facial fields.
Dr. Magda Bayoumi is currently working as Lecturer at faculty of nursing Beni-Suef University, she has been Assistant Professor, head of nursing department Al-farabi Colleges Riyadh, Dean College of Medical Applied Sciences , King Khalid University for 4 years and a lecturer in the Faculty of Nursing, King Saud University for 4 years and before that working in haemo and peritoneal dialysis for seven years. She was awarded a PhD in 2007 Ain Shams University. Her main interests are in nursing research, adding to new nursing knowledge for the benefit of patients, families and communities. This encompasses all aspects of health including promotion and prevention. Dr. Susan M. Burke, PhD, RN, CPNP-PC has been a registered nurse for 4 decades caring for children and families in a variety of specialty pediatric clinical settings. Currently she is the Director of the Primary Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Program at Drexel University while maintaining an active clinical practice at an inpatient Behavioral Health facility for children and adolescents. Her areas of research interest are families with special needs children, self-determination in adolescents with intellectual and developmental disabilities and critical thinking abilities in nurse practitioner students. In addition, she is a program evaluator for the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.
Dr. Robert E Garfield is presently a professor in the Department of Obstetrics at the Women and Children’s Hospital and Medical Center, Guangzhou, China. Previously he has held faculty appointments at St Joseph’s Hospital in Phoenix, AZ, University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas and McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. He has published over 500 papers in scientific journals and been involved in education of medical and science students for over 30 years. His research involves studies to understand function of the uterus and cervix during pregnancy, term and preterm birth, and methods to measure uterine and cervix roles during pregnancy and labor. Dr. Pachiappan Arjunan is an Assistant Professor in the Dept. of Periodontics at The Dental College of Georgia, Augusta University (formerly Georgia Regents University). Dr. Karol Harshaw-Ellis earned a Bachelor of Science in nursing at UNC-Chapel Hill, North Carolina in 1992. She completed a MSN as a Geriatric Nurse Practitioner and Post-Masters as an Adult Nurse Practitioner in 1994, and went to complete a Doctorate of Nursing Practice in 2011 at the Duke School of Nursing, Durham, North Carolina. Currently, she works as a Nurse Practitioner in the Duke Advanced Heart Failure Program in the Same Day Access Clinic for which she also serves as the Director of Outreach. She is a Consulting Associate to the Duke School of Nursing. She is an ANCC certified Adult and Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. She is a reviewer for the Journal of Cardiovascular Nursing and serves on the editorial board for the SM Journal of Nursing. She has been an invited speaker both locally and nationally. In 2013-2014, she was an inaugural fellow in the Duke Johnson and Johnson Nurse Leadership Program and now serves as a project coach. In 2014, Heart Failure Society of America (HFSA) awarded her the Clinical Excellence in Nursing Award and in 2016 selected as a Fellow in the HFSA.
Dr. Stacey A. Teruya is an Assistant Professor in Department of Internal Medicine at Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science (CDU) and an adjunct Assistant Professor at David Geffen School of Medicine and at University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA). He has EdD degree from Pepperdine University, Los Angeles, 2003 and MS from Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles, 1983. Dr. Yulan Liang, Ph.D., is an associate professor in the University of Maryland, Baltimore. Dr. Javad Birjandtalab received the B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering – Electronics in 2010 from Electrical Engineering Department, Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran and the M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering – Circuits and Systems in 2013 at University of Tehran, Tehran, Iran. He is currently a PhD candidate for electrical engineering at University of Texas at Dallas. He is a member of the Quality of Life Technology (QoLT) laboratory. He is interested in data analytics and signal processing for the applications of health-care and wellness monitoring, which includes improving the quality of health monitoring practice and medical research.” His research interests include Epileptic Seizure Monitoring, Physiological Monitoring, Computational Neuroscience, Wearable Computers, Anomaly detection, Machine Learning.
Dr. Deborah A. Smith is a professor in the Augusta University College of Nursing who serves as director of the Bachelor of Science in nursing (BSN) program. Her previous HRSA grant work with students from under-represented backgrounds in nursing and from underserved communities provides her with insight on the need for multi-dimensional support to facilitate sustained academic and personal success. She has connected with numerous resources and collaborators across the state through her ongoing work with older adults in local and regional community settings. More recently, the use of video recorders and HIPPA compliant web portals to foster improved geriatric assessment among BSN nursing students allowed for innovative, clinical education while providing community engagement through video clips and analysis of student home visits. Several publications and presentations capture the essence of her experiences with technical approaches to student learning both in the community and the classroom. She also implemented programs to build diversity in the BSN program which led to sustained, annual increases in the number of students from under-represented backgrounds as well as increased diversity among nursing faculty.
Salvatore Vitale was born in Catania (Italy) on August 30th, 1984. During his university career he trained in histology and embryology, microbiology, clinical pharmacology, general surgery and finally, in obstetrics and gynecology. He graduated in Medicine and Surgery in July 2009 from the University of Catania with 110/110 cum laude, presenting an experimental degree thesis entitled “Quality of life and sexual changes after double transobturator tension-free approach to treat severe cystocele”, later published in the European Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecology and Reproductive Biology. In February 2010 he received a professional qualification to practice medicine with full marks and, in June 2015, he specialised in gynecology and obstetrics with honours.
Antonio Simone Laganà was born in Reggio Calabria (Italy) on 8th May 1986. He is of Member of the Expert Panel of the Italian Association of Endometriosis; Junior Deputy of Special Interest Group for Endometriosis & Endometrial Disorders (SIGEED) of the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE); In-Training Member of the Society for Reproductive Investigation (SRI) and International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology (ISUOG); Member or the Italian Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy (SEGI). He got a Master of “gynecological minimally invasive and robotic surgery” (University of Pisa), developed an intensive surgical training in the Univerzitetni Klinični Center, Ljubljana (Ljubljana, Slovenia) and obstetric/gynecological ultrasound training in the Altamedica Main Center (Rome, Italy). His research interests are: Endometriosis, Reproductive Immunology, Infertility, Gynecological Endocrinology, Laparoscopy, Hysteroscopy. He is author of many papers published in national and international peer-reviewed journals, and his presence is often requested as Invited Speaker in international congresses.

He joined in November 2015 as Professor at Department of Oral Medicine & Periodontology Peshawar Dental College, Peshawar and working with Prime Foundation of Pakistan. Dr. Franco Vicariotto is a specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is now specialist consultant of Humanitas-S.PIO X Hospital, Milan. He has been deputy head of division of Ob/Gyn. of Niguarda Hospital of Milan for almost 20 years where he had conducted important researches in the field of Infectious Diseases in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is one of the founders and Vice-president of the scientific society Esidog Italia (European Society for Infectious Diseases in Obstetrics and Gynaecology) and also Founder and part of the National board of SIFIOG (Italian society of supplements in ob/gyn). Prof. Dr. Akmal Nabil Ahmad El-Mazny, MD, FICS; Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University, Egypt. He was graduated from Cairo University, Egypt. He pursued his masters and MD in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology. His sub-specialties include assisted reproduction and gynecologic endoscopy. He was also a peer reviewer and associate editor for many renowned journals like F&S, EJOGRB, UOG, ARCH, JGO, MEFS etc. He contributed over 50 international publications to the world of scientific community.
Fabio Martinelli, MD is an attending physician in the Department of Gynecologic Oncology at IRCCS Foundation – National Cancer Institute of Milan –Italy since 2012, when he graduated residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology from the University of Milan. During his training attended at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center – Gynecologic Oncology and Reproductive Medicine Department and at the Universidad Autonoma of Madrid. His research interests are: Gynecological Oncology, Gynecologic Malignancies Treatment (cervical, endometrial, ovarian and vulvar cancer and pre-invasive disease), Minimally invasive surgery in ob/gyn (Laparoscopy, Hysteroscopy), Surgical techniques in gynecology, Sentinel node procedures, Laser surgery, Oncofertility, Fertility preservation in gynecologic cancers. He is an AAGL member and a participant in the AAGL’s oncology special interest group, member of the Multicenter Italian Trials in Ovarian Cancer and gynecologic malignancies (MITO) group and board member of the Italian Society of Gynecologic Oncology (SIOG). He has authored and co-authored numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals as well as various book chapters. He is a member of several editorial boards as well as a reviewer for indexed journals.
Dr. Ibrahim Anwar Abdelazim is currently a Professor of Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Ain Shams University, Egypt. He is a Specialist of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Ahmadi Hospital, Kuwait Oil Company (KOC). He has more than 60 published researches in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology in international and local journals. He is also a consultant in Leto Maternity Hospital, Athens Greece and Rea Maternity Hospital, Athens Greece. He is member of medical councils like, Member of GMC (General Medical Council)-United Kingdom: Specialist registry with a licence to practice:6147948, ii.Athens Medical Council, iii.Swedish Medical Council. Dr. Rafael Bottaro Gelaleti obtained Graduate Degree in Biological Sciences from UNESP, Brazil. He has experience in the area of Human and Medical Genetics, Molecular Biology and Maternal/fetal area with an emphasis on diabetes. He has developed Scientific Initiation work at the Laboratory of Hemoglobins and Genetics of Hematological Diseases, Department of Biology, UNESP-IBILCE. He was a FAPESP Fellow of the Technical Training level-3, next to the laboratory of Experimental Research of Gynecology and Obstetrics, FMB-UNESP. He holds a Master’s and Doctoral Degree in Gynecology, Obstetrics and Mastology from the Faculty of Medicine of Botucatu – UNESP with FAPESP and CAPES scholarships. He is currently a postdoctoral fellow at Universidade Estadual Paulista – UNESP. He is Part of the research group: Diabetes and Pregnancy – Clinical and Experimental registered at CNPq.
Adnan Ćatović is a specialist and primarius in Prosthodontics. He is full Professor of Fixed Prosthodontics and Geriatric Dentistry at the School of Dentistry, University of Zagreb and Head of Poyclinic Dental Clinic University Hospital Centre in Zagreb, Croatia. He is a regular member of the Croatian Academy of Medical Sciences, graduated from the School of Dental Medicine in Zagreb 1977. He was research assistant at the Department of Fixed Prosthodontics, Faculty of Dentistry in Zagreb, university lecturer and research associate in 1987. He was elected for Associate Professor and senior research associate in 1995. and Full Professor and scientific advisor in 1999. From 1999. to 2001. he was Head of the Department of Fixed Prosthodontics, Faculty of Dentistry, University of Zagreb. He was Head of the Department of Fixed Prosthodontics, School of Medicine, Study of Dental Medicine,University of Rijeka from 2001 to 2003. Now he is the Head of the Geriatric Dentistry at the School of Dental Medicine University of Zagreb and Head of the Polyclinic of Dental Clinic University Hospital Center Zagreb. He was a lecturer at numerous scientific and professional conferences and has published over 150 scientific papers .He was a leader and principal investigator of the scientific project “Teeth, materials and prosthetics appliances in adolescent and geriatric population”. He was author of two textbooks of Fixed prosthodontics and Geriatric dentistry and co author in two textbooks of Geriatric Medicine and Dental Radiology .He is a regular member of the Croatian Academy of Medical Sciences, Croatian Society for Prosthetic Dentistry, Croatian Medical Association, European Prosthodontic Association (EPA) and the European College of Gerodontology (ECG). He is a member of several Editorial boards of the International Journals in Dentistry and Medicine.
Dr. Amer A. Taqa is Professor at Dental Basic Science at Mosul University, Iraq. He holds PhD degree in Dental chemistry. He has published 96 researches papers in national and international academic journals and authored 22 books. His research interests include dental chemistry, medical chemistry, and inorganic chemistry. He is editorial member in more than 110 international journals.
Dr. Christian Brenes DDS, MS. Assistant Professor in the Department of General Dentistry and Course Director of Honors Prosthodontics and Implant Dentistry at Dental College of Georgia. Dr. Brenes received his DDS degree from Costa Rica (Universidad Latino Americana de Ciencia y Tecnologia) in 2007. He completed a surgical and restorative training in implant dentistry before obtaining his Master degree in Prosthodontics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry (2014) where he was granted the Ann and G. Randolph Babcock Fellowship Award. He worked in private practice before joining the Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University. He is also international faculty member and consultant for multiple companies; as well as author of multiple publications on topics such as CAD/CAM, guided surgery, implants, biomaterials and dental esthetics.
Dr. Durgesh Bailoor is currently with the Faculty of Dentistry at university of Taif, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He has past experience of five years as Dean/Principal of Jaipur Dental College. He graduated from Government Dental College, Bombay India. His BDS and MDS are both from University of Bombay. He later completed M.Phil in behavioural sciences (sociology of health) from the British University of Trinidad and Tobago at St Augustine, Campus. He also trained in Management studies and acquired a Masters in hospital management (MBA) from Alagappa University, Chennai, India. He wrote two text books: Fundamentals of Oral Medicine and Radiology: Jaypee Medical Publishers, New Delhi India, 2005 and Management of Medically compromised Dental patient : CBS Publishers New Delhi, 2012. He has several publications in National and International Journals.
Dr. Izzet Yavuz is Professor in Pediatric Dentistry at University of Dicle, Turkey. He is specialized on pediatric dentistry treatments, 3D Cone Beam Dental Volumetric Tomography, ectodermal dysplasia, the effect of magnetic field to the teeth, micro leakage, and trauma on dental roots. He has more than 90 papers that have been published in international and national journals and presented in international and national meetings. He is head of Ectodermal Dysplasia Group – Turkey. He has been worked as a head Doctor of the Dicle University Faculty of Dentistry from December 2007 to September 2009. He is owner, Editor-in-Chief and General Director of the Journal of International Dental and Medical Research and Dental Journal of Dicle. He has been participated in many international scientific meetings and conferences.
Dr. Jiiang-Huei Jeng is Professor at School of Dentistry, National Taiwan University Medical College and Department of Dentistry, National Taiwan University Hospital. He has Ph.D in Clinical Dental Science, National Taiwan University Medical College (1994). He worked, during 1995-2015, sequentially as a lecturer, assistant professor, associate professor and professor in the National Taiwan University Dental School. Dr. Jeng is a specialist in both Endodontics and Periodontics. He got IADR Hatton Award in 1993 and IADR distinguish award of Pharmacology, Toxicology and Therapeutics in 2012, Brazil. He practiced endodontics, periodontics, and implant dentistry in the National Taiwan University Hospital since 1991 and currently is the chair in Department of Endodontics. He is also a professor, researcher and teaching staff in the National Taiwan University Dental School. His major research work involves endodontics, periodontics, implantology, as well as pharmacology, toxicology, chemical carcinogenesis and material biocompatibility. He has published many papers in scientific journals including Biomaterials, Acta Biomaterialia, J Endod, Int Endod J, J Dent Res, Carcinogenesis, J Periodontol, PLoS ONE etc. He also served as a reviewer and editorial board member of many journals.
Dr. Mehmet Omer Gorduysus (DDS, PhD, Professor, Endodontist) was born in Istanbul. Graduated from Hacettepe University, Faculty of Dentistry with the degree of DDS, completed his Post-graduate Program in Endodontics in the United States at the University of Southern California with the scholarship of Turkish Goverment and received the title of “Specialist in Endodontics. Later he received his PhD degree in Endodontics from Hacettepe University, Ankara-Turkey and went to ACTA of Amsterdam with the scholarship of the Goverment of the Netherlands (given by NUFFIC), after that became invited professor and lecturer, clinical instructor at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Endodontics in Canada two academic years. Following his return to Turkey he became tenured professor in Hacettepe University, Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Endodontics in Ankara and Convener of Graduate Endo. Studied in the field of research and has many publications in SCI covered besides the some local and international journals, former vice president of Animal Research Ethics Committee Hacettepe University and giving national and international lectures and courses, convener of graduate endo clinic, editorships (Former Editor in Chief of Clinical Dentistry and Research) also translating and authorship for book chapters. As actual position professor in University of Sharjah, College of Dentistry in United Arab Emirates, Department of Preventive and Restorative Dentistry, giving lectures, working in the field of research, pre-clinical and clinical, graduate teaching, supervising and instructorship since August 31,2014 in UAE. Member of ESE, IADR, FDI, Turkish Endodontic Society, Honorary member of Kosovo Dental Association.
Prof. Mohamed Said Hamed is currently Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and he is also Dean of College of Dentistry, Gulf Medical University, Ajman, United Arab Emirates. Prof. Hamed is Consultant “A” Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is graduated from Cairo University, Egypt 1977, Master Degree at Alexandria University, Egypt 1982 and Ph.D at Tanta University, Egypt, 1986. He is a member of editorial boards of many Dental Scientific Journals. His areas of scientific interest are Dento-alveolar surgeries, maxillofacial trauma, temporomandibular joint surgeries and arthrocentesis, diagnosis and treatment of benign and malignant tumors of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Dental Implantology. He is author of 50 publications on peer reviewed journals with impact factor. He supervised more than 50 thesis(Master and Ph.D). He judged more than 70 thesis in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr. Rami El Assal is currently working as a Research Scientist at Stanford University School of Medicine, Stanford, CA. In June 2016, he completed his Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at the Canary Center at Stanford for Cancer Early Detection, Stanford University School of Medicine. Prior to Stanford, he completed a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at the Harvard-MIT Health Science and Technology, Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA. Dr. El Assal received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from Ajman University, Ajman, UAE. Following his clinical internship, he enrolled in an Advanced Training Program in General Dentistry for two years. His clinical training was affiliated by the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI). Recently, Dr. El Assal completed a Certificate Program in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, Stanford, CA.
Dr. Vesna Ambarkova has received her McS in Ss.Cyril & Methodius University during the period of 1994-2004. She has received Ph.D from Ss.Cyril & Methodius University in 2015. Currently, she is working as teaching assistant in the Department for preventive and pediatric dentistry at the Ss.Cyril & Methodius University. She have successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities as a member of the Coordinating body for prevention of oral diseases in children 0 to 14 years of the Republic of Macedonia for the period 2008 to 2018 designated by the Minister of Health of the Republic of Macedonia. Her research has included dental age estimation, oral health, DMFT scores, ethics, inform consent, fluoridated drinking water. She is serving as an editorial member of several reputed journals. She is a member of many international dental societies and associations.
Dr. Artur Wdowiak is an Associate Professor and Head of Diagnostic Techniques Unit at the Medical University of Lublin, Poland. He received his Ph.D from Medical University of Lublin in 1996. Since 2013 he is the president of International Scientific Association for the Support and Development of Medical Technologies. Dr. Artur research interests includes Problems of gynecology and obstetrics: male and female infertility, importance of environmental factors within the scope of problems and concerning human reproduction, use of the latest technologies in the IVF procedure. Dr. Artur is also a Principal investigator: Project started in 2013: Retrospective analysis of changes of semen parameters in Poland and the Ukraine within the last decade, financed by the International Scientific Association for the Support and Development of Medical Technologies.
